Luzsco Bluetooth Shower Speaker with LED (Mini Portable) Review

Small and light, the Luzsco Bluetooth Shower Speaker is a wireless speaker with an LED, a suction cup, and an IPX4 splash-proof rating. It suits showers, poolsides, and river floats where music matters but a good speaker should stay dry. One key limit stands out: splash-proof, not waterproof.

Judge a speaker like this on four things. Water handling comes first. Convenience of placing and carrying comes next. Then sound for its size. Finally, what the water rating really means. The suction cup and low weight cover convenience. IPX4 covers water. Its mini size shapes the sound. Luzsco states plainly that it is splash-proof but not waterproof. That single line matters most, and we explain it below.

Built to go where a normal speaker cannot, it earns its place around water. A suction cup on the back grips any smooth surface. Stick it to a shower tile, a window, or the side of a cooler. It then sits at ear level, hands-free, rather than balancing on a ledge. Light and compact, it tosses into a bag for the beach, a pool party, or a float trip. Bluetooth pairing keeps your phone safely out of the splash zone. A built-in LED adds colour and fun for evening use.

Here the water rating matters, and Luzsco is unusually clear. The speaker carries an IPX4 rating, which means splash-proof. The maker explicitly states it is not waterproof. So it shrugs off shower spray, splashes, and the odd bit of poolside water. Dropping it in or submerging it is another matter, and it is not built for that. Knowing that line separates a speaker that lasts from one you accidentally drown. Good to see it stated plainly rather than hidden.

For its job, it performs nicely. Stuck to a shower wall or a window, it keeps the music going while your phone stays dry across the room. The suction cup and low weight make it genuinely grab-and-go for the pool, the beach, or a lazy river float. Bluetooth pairing is the convenience you want near water, since nothing is plugged in. In a tiled bathroom or an open outdoor space, it fills the area with clear enough sound to enjoy. As a splash-ready speaker with a fun light, it hits the brief.

Set expectations around a mini speaker. As the maker stresses, IPX4 means splash-proof only. Do not submerge it, drop it in a pool, or take it underwater. Go under, and that sits outside what it is built for. On sound, a small speaker is about convenience rather than power. It stays clear and pleasant for a shower or a picnic. It will not match the volume or deep bass of a larger Bluetooth speaker. The suction cup also needs a genuinely smooth, clean surface to grip well. Taken for what it is, a fun, splash-proof companion, it does exactly what it promises.
