Product Overview

The light clips directly onto a book or magazine so it hovers over the page while reading.
Power comes from either 3 AAA batteries or USB, with the USB cable included in the box while the batteries are not. This dual power option is meant to make the light usable both at home and while traveling.

Key Features
Officially licensed Harry Potter merchandise.
Clips onto a book or magazine to hover over the page.
Runs on 3 AAA batteries or an included USB cable.
About 0.15 pounds so it does not weigh down a page.
An additive intended to help the plastic decompose in a landfill.
Design and Build Quality
The light measures 7.5 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 3 inches tall, and weighs about 0.15 pounds, keeping it light enough to clip onto a page without weighing it down. It is finished in gold to match the golden Snitch design it is modeled after.
Paladone notes the plastic used includes BDP, an organic additive meant to help the plastic decompose in a landfill without affecting its structural integrity while in use or its recyclability. The listing also states there is no warranty on this item.
Performance in Everyday Use
As a reading light, the main functional performance is the clip mechanism holding the light steady on a page while the light itself illuminates the text below it. The dual power design means the light can run on batteries for portable use or USB for a rechargeable style setup, though the listing does not provide a battery life or light output figure.
Being officially licensed Harry Potter merchandise is also part of the product's value, aimed squarely at fans rather than buyers looking for a purely utilitarian clip light.
