Product Overview
MEEDEN positions this as a basic, full-range color set for adults rather than a specialty or limited palette, covering 24 rich, saturated hues in a single purchase. Each color ships in its own 60ml (2 oz) tube, giving a workable amount of paint per color for a full painting session rather than a sample-size tube.
The heavy body formula is built for texture-focused painting, meaning the paint holds its shape and visible brush strokes rather than flattening out like a fluid acrylic.
Score Breakdown
This verdict is based on the manufacturer's stated specifications, the current Amazon listing and its product images, the confirmed materials and design, real buyer ratings, and our research into the product category. Scores are consistent editorial judgments, not laboratory measurements, and we did not receive a paid sample.
Key Features
A full basic palette of pure hues in one set.
Holds thick layers while keeping visible brush strokes.
Fast surface drying with minimal fluctuation.
Forms a soft, resilient film once dry.
Named finish for the dried paint surface.
Compatible with gels, varnishes and pouring mediums.
Design and Build Quality
The full 24-tube set measures about 5.9 by 10.6 by 6.5 inches as packaged, giving a sense of how much shelf or storage space the complete set needs. Each tube is labeled by color within the 24-color range, and the overall finish MEEDEN names for the dried paint is satin.
MEEDEN states the dried paint forms a soft yet resilient color film that is water resistant, intended to hold up on canvas, wood, rock and similar surfaces after curing.
Performance in Everyday Use
Drying speed is the clearest performance figure MEEDEN states: an average surface dry time of 15 minutes, which the brand frames as reducing the wait between layers compared to slower-drying formulas, while keeping fluctuations in that dry time to a minimum for more consistent results.
Texture performance centers on the heavy body claim, meaning the paint is thick enough to mold and build up layers while still holding clear, defined brush strokes, rather than a thinner acrylic that levels out flat.
