A dangling plush ball hangs from the post for extra interactive play, while the soft top and base are designed to give cats a comfortable spot to rub against, step up on or nap near.

Design and Build Quality
The post measures about 25.6 inches tall by 13.8 inches in both length and width, and weighs 4.3 pounds. Made4Pets uses a round base built from chipboard and covered in carpet, which the brand states adds stability and helps prevent wobbling or tipping during use.
Made4Pets markets the assembly as a 3-step process with all tools included, and finishes the post in green to match the cactus theme. The model is listed under part number MAMT0169-M.
Performance in Everyday Use
The sisal wrap is the main functional surface for scratching, and Made4Pets states it is tightly wound specifically to minimize loose debris compared with looser sisal wraps. The chipboard base covered in carpet is the brand's stated approach to keeping the post upright during vigorous scratching, rather than relying on weight alone.
The dangling plush ball is a secondary play feature layered onto the scratching function, giving cats an additional reason to interact with the post beyond clawing. These are Made4Pets' own published height, dimension, weight and assembly figures rather than independent durability testing of this specific post.
