Design and Build Quality
The rug carries part number area rug 5x7 and model 5x7 area rugs, measuring a stated 84 inches by 60 inches (5 by 7 feet) with a pile height of 0.32 inches, and weighing 5.2 pounds. A high-density anti-slip granule backing is built in to keep the rug from sliding or curling in high-traffic areas.
The rug ships folded and bagged, and the listing notes temporary creases may appear on arrival, recommending the rug be left flat for several days, or rolled, weighted or ironed with a towel barrier to speed up flattening.
Performance in Everyday Use
Washability is the standout performance claim: the rug is machine washable in cold water without bleach, aimed at simplifying maintenance compared with a dry-clean-only rug.
Safety and grip performance rest on the anti-slip granule backing, intended to eliminate tripping hazards in high-traffic areas for children, pets and elderly family members, while the tightly woven recycled-fiber structure is built to resist claw marks and rough play.
