Score Breakdown
This verdict is based on the manufacturer's stated specifications, the current Amazon listing and its product images, the confirmed materials and design, real buyer ratings, and our research into the product category. Scores are consistent editorial judgments, not laboratory measurements, and we did not receive a paid sample.

Design and Build Quality
The Vital 200S-P comes in white and measures 15.6 inches deep, 8.5 inches wide, and 19.8 inches high. The listing confirms a U-shaped air inlet in addition to the traditional inlet, which is intended to trap airborne pet hair and odors without clogging.
The design targets large and high traffic spaces, including living rooms, bedrooms, basements, and open-concept homes. The unit count is one, and the listing does not confirm the exact weight or materials beyond the stated dimensions and color.
Performance in Everyday Use
AHAM VERIFIDE testing lists CADR ratings of 250 CFM for smoke, 254 CFM for dust, and 289 CFM for pollen. This suggests strong air cleaning for large rooms up to 1,875 square feet, especially for allergen and pet dander removal. The 27 dB setting is quiet enough for bedroom use.
A real limitation is that the listing does not provide customer feedback or long-term reliability data, so real world performance beyond the certified CADR numbers is not independently confirmed here. Smart features and the Air Quality Monitor are mentioned in the title but not detailed in the feature bullets.
