Product Overview
The HODANS Northern Galaxy Light Aurora Projector is a compact lamp style device that combines an aurora and star projector, eight white noise sounds, and a Bluetooth speaker in an elephant shaped body. It is marketed for bedrooms, nurseries, relaxation corners, and small parties.
This review checks the listed light effects, audio features, remote control, design, and safety certifications against the product listing. Because no customer feedback is available, the assessment is based on the manufacturer's stated specifications and typical expectations for this category.
Score Breakdown
This verdict is based on the manufacturer's stated specifications, the current Amazon listing and its product images, the confirmed materials and design, real buyer ratings, and our research into the product category. Scores are consistent editorial judgments, not laboratory measurements, and we did not receive a paid sample.
Key Features
Combines aurora projection, white noise playback, and Bluetooth speaker in one lamp style unit.
Offers four colors, 16 northern light effects, and 3 modes with 4 level flow speed and brightness.
Plays ocean waves, forest birds, rivulet, lullaby, and other nature sounds for sleep.
Pairs with Bluetooth devices and syncs stars and aurora movement to the music beat.
Works as room decor for gaming setups, home theaters, reading nooks, and relaxation corners, certified FCC, CE, and RoHS.
Design and Build Quality
The projector has a black elephant shaped housing measuring 4.3 by 6.3 by 3.9 inches, which is small enough for a nightstand or shelf. The listing highlights a dual lens setup that produces red, green, blue, and white aurora colors, with a lamp style ambient effect when not in projection use.
Build quality is not independently verified, but the listing states the product is certified by FCC, CE, and RoHS, which suggests basic electrical safety compliance for home use. The remote control is listed in the product title, though the listing does not detail its range or battery type.
Performance in Everyday Use
The projector offers 33 light effects across three modes and 16 northern light effects, with four level flow speed and four level brightness adjustment. The white noise function includes eight nature sounds such as ocean waves, forest birds, rivulet, and lullaby, while the Bluetooth speaker can play music and sync the aurora movement to the beat.
One real limitation is that the listing does not confirm projection coverage area, lumen output, or speaker wattage, so performance in large or brightly lit rooms remains uncertain. The claim that it works in bright rooms is not backed by measurable specifications or user reviews.

This review is based on the manufacturer's stated specifications, the current Amazon product listing and its images, the confirmed materials and design, and our own research into star projectors as a product category. Our scores are editorial judgments made against consistent criteria, not laboratory measurements, and we did not carry out destructive or long-term stress testing.
