Product Overview
EARTHALL builds this rug from a firm, structured cotton, polyester and viscose blend rather than a plush or shaggy pile, describing the surface as low-profile and slightly textured. The rug is sized at 6 by 9 feet, with a Dark Coffee/Brown color EARTHALL describes as a deep, rich blend offering a warm, sophisticated look for modern or traditional decor.
Because each rug is hand-cut rather than machine-cut to an exact template, EARTHALL notes small differences in dimensions or edge straightness may appear, which the brand states is a normal part of handmade production rather than a defect.
Score Breakdown
This verdict is based on the manufacturer's stated specifications, the current Amazon listing and its product images, the confirmed materials and design, real buyer ratings, and our research into the product category. Scores are consistent editorial judgments, not laboratory measurements, and we did not receive a paid sample.
Key Features
Delicate cycle washing with air drying recommended to preserve quality.
Improves grip on clean, dry hard floors.
A low-profile, slightly textured weave rather than plush or shaggy.
Individually cut with bound edges for added durability.
Sized for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and entryways.
Design and Build Quality
The woven center measures about 0.19 inches thick, while the bound edge runs thicker at about 0.38 inches, and EARTHALL recommends door clearance of over 0.4 inches to avoid jamming on the thicker edge. The listing's item dimensions field lists an overall height of 0.35 inches, close to the stated bound-edge thickness.
EARTHALL's own part number and model fields read Boho Area Rug and Boho Rug, labels that do not match the product's actual Dark Coffee/Brown solid-toned woven design described elsewhere in the listing. The rug ships folded for packaging, which EARTHALL states can leave temporary creases removable with a damp cloth and low-temperature steam iron, or by tumble drying.
Performance in Everyday Use
EARTHALL states rubber dots on the back improve grip on clean, dry hard floors, though the brand is direct that performance may vary on carpet, dusty tile or uneven surfaces, recommending an additional rug pad when extra grip is needed. The rug is machine washable on a delicate cycle, with air drying recommended to preserve quality; EARTHALL notes to expect some shrinkage and wrinkles after washing, correctable with low-heat ironing.
The firm, structured weave is a deliberate design choice, per EARTHALL, rather than an attempt at a plush or cushion-soft feel. These are EARTHALL's own published material, thickness, washability and backing claims rather than independent durability or grip testing of this specific rug.
How It Performs: The Evidence
| Decision factor | What we found | Evidence and measurement | Score | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Washability | Machine washable, delicate cycle | Listing states safe for machine wash on a delicate cycle, air drying recommended | 8.1 | A stated washability claim shows how easily the rug can be cleaned at home |
| Backing grip | Rubber dot backing | Listing states rubber dots help improve grip on clean, dry hard floors | 7.7 | A named backing design shows how the rug resists sliding on hard flooring |
| Material blend | Cotton, polyester, viscose | Listing states the rug is made from a cotton, polyester and viscose blend | 7.9 | A named material blend shows the fiber composition behind the rug's firm, structured feel |
| Edge thickness | 0.19in center, 0.38in bound edge | Listing states the woven center is about 0.19 in thick, while the bound edge is about 0.38 in | 7.8 | Confirmed thickness figures show door clearance needs and potential edge lifting risk |
| Size | 6x9 feet | Listing states Size: 6' x 9' (72"x108") and the item dimensions field confirms a length of 108 and width of 72 inches | 8.0 | A confirmed size shows the real floor coverage of the rug |
| Labeling accuracy | Part number/model read Boho Area Rug | Listing's part number field states Boho Area Rug and model field states Boho Rug, despite the product being described as a solid Dark Coffee/Brown woven rug | 6.4 | Flagging this mismatch shows a real inconsistency in the listing's own identifying fields |
