COOSII AC01 Wired Over Ear Headphones, Black Red Review

COOSII builds this AC01 headphone around a 360 degree over ear noise-isolation design, rated to block up to 85% of ambient sound and disruption, paired with a 40mm DLC dynamic driver for balanced bass, treble and a clear stereo mid range. The combination is aimed at focused, immersive listening for studying, classwork or gaming.

Ear pads measure 3.54 by 1 inch and are built one third larger than typical pads, using high grade protein leather and breathable mesh to surround the entire ear comfortably for extended wear. The headband is adjustable and made of lightweight TPU with a center relief zone, ergonomically designed for a comfortable fit on teens, adults and kids aged 12 and older.

A 3.5mm audio jack includes built-in volume buttons for managing calls and playback, and an HD microphone is built for clear voice pickup with automatic wind noise suppression. The 3.5mm gold-plated plug is widely compatible with phones, fire tablets, Chromebooks and laptops, though the listing specifically notes that volume control and microphone functions require a separate adapter to work on PC computers. The whole headphone folds down for a lightweight, portable design.

The driver is a 40mm DLC dynamic unit, sized to deliver what the listing describes as well-balanced bass and treble alongside a clear stereo mid range. Surrounding that driver, the over ear cup uses a 360 degree noise-isolation construction specifically engineered to block up to 85% of ambient sound.

Ear pads are enlarged, one third bigger than the listing says is typical, measuring 3.54 by 1 inch and combining high grade protein leather with breathable mesh for comfort during all-day wear. The headband itself uses lightweight TPU material with a center relief zone, built ergonomically for a comfortable, adjustable fit suited to teens, adults and kids aged 12 and up.

Connectivity runs through a 3.5mm gold-plated plug with built-in volume buttons on the cable, plus an HD microphone that automatically suppresses wind noise during calls. The whole unit weighs 0.64 pounds and folds down for portability, and the listing is specific that a separate adapter is needed to use the volume control and mic functions on a PC, since those work natively only on phones, tablets and similar 3.5mm jack devices.

For focused listening in noisy environments, the 360 degree noise-isolation design rated to block up to 85% of ambient sound is the headline feature, aimed specifically at classrooms, dorms or shared spaces where outside noise would otherwise interrupt concentration. The 40mm driver's balanced bass, treble and mid range support both music and spoken audio like lectures or calls.

Comfort over long sessions comes from the combination of enlarged, protein leather and mesh ear pads and the lightweight TPU headband with its center relief zone, both engineered specifically for extended wear without the pressure or heat buildup smaller or stiffer designs can cause. That comfort focus matters directly for the stated all-day study or classroom use case.

On compatible devices, the built-in volume buttons and HD microphone give full hands-free call and playback control, with wind noise suppression improving call clarity. The listing's own caveat, that a PC needs a separate adapter for the mic and volume buttons to work, is an important functional limit to plan around if a desktop computer is the primary intended device.
