Product Overview
AQUA CREST positions this filter as matching the original brand's filtration performance, built around a 100 percent coconut shell carbon block rather than a generic filter media, and backed by NSF 42 and 372 certifications as a standard for filtration quality.
The filter is designed for a 100 percent fit using what AQUA CREST calls precise production technology, intended to install the same way as the original Samsung filter, with the brand stating the DIY installation process takes only a few minutes.
Month install stickers ship with the filter, letting a buyer mark the installation date directly on the unit, which AQUA CREST frames as a simple reminder system for tracking when a replacement filter rated for up to 6 months or 300 gallons will need to be swapped.

Stated dimensions are 6.22 inches tall by 3.15 by 3.15 inches, weighing 0.67 pounds, in white, part number AQF-DA29-00003G, model AQF-FF11B. AQUA CREST backs the filter with what it describes as a lifetime warranty structure alongside a 6 month return policy for any filter confirmed to have a material, workmanship or filter-caused malfunction.
Filtration media is a coconut shell carbon block, which AQUA CREST states is superior to generic alternatives for removing different substances from water passing through the filter.
Compatibility spans a long list of Samsung part numbers including DA29-00003G, DA29-00003B, DA29-00003A, RFG237AARS, RSG257AARS, RS22HDHPNSR and others, plus comparable third-party filter models like HAFCU1, FMS-1 and WSS-1, letting one filter serve multiple original part number listings.
Performance in Everyday Use
AQUA CREST rates filtration performance as on par with the original brand filter, attributing this to the coconut shell carbon block media and the NSF 42 and 372 certifications the filter carries, intended to assure buyers of a standard rather than an unverified generic claim.
Filter life is rated at up to 6 months or 300 gallons, whichever comes first in practice, with AQUA CREST noting this figure depends on the specific conditions of a household's water supply rather than being a fixed guarantee across every installation.
Installation performance is framed around a precise, 100 percent fit matching the original filter's footprint, with AQUA CREST stating the swap itself takes only a few minutes without special tools, supported by the included install-date stickers for tracking replacement timing going forward.
